I decided to put a pattern password on my phone and forgot the pattern. As I was going to factory reset it by Power + Volume up all it does is turn my phone on and off.

Just dropped my fairly new Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 on the ground face first and cracked the top left corner of the screen. This in turn broke the digitizer. Wondering if anyone has any information on where to get a new digitizer and how to replace it. So far i've found absolutley nothing showing how to replace it.

I have a feeling that the charger does not connect properly to the micro usb port. It is loose and often disconect. Phone is out of warranty. CAn I repair it myself? Do you know if I have to solder new port? How much does it cost in workshop?
