ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP500LA: Why is my laptop overheating after only a few minutes of use?

My ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP500LA has been overheating way too quickly recently and that has me worried it may cause damage to it if this keeps up. I'm not sure what's wrong, although I suspect that it may be that the fan is not working but I'm not sure how to get to the fan. Is there a way I can access the fan in order to possibly replace it?

ASUS T300LA-US51T: Replacing ASUS T300 Chi micro USB port

When plugging in the ASUS USB dongle I use with my ASUS T300 Chi , a couple of days ago, I saw a small spark (I wasn’t sure I’d seen it it was so small and quick) and then I found that the computer stopped recognising anything I plug in. To make sure the problem is with the port and not the dongle I tried plugging in devices I usually plug in directly using micro USB to micro USB cables, still nothing. Just plugging in the dongle would normally have resulted in a beep.

Is it feasible to replace the USB port?

If so, where to I find the part? I’ve looked online and haven’t found something I am confident would be the right part.

Asus Transformer T100: Touchscreen malfunctioning after a while

Lately I've been having problems with my Asus T100TA.

I notice the Asus T100TA tends to register "wrong touches" if anyone gets what I mean,

I don't know how to word this properly but at random it goes registering a touch at the middle top of the screen, when I try to remove it by putting my finger on it, the 'wrong touch' goes moving down (And I'm unable to use my trackpad to move the cursor), it disappears temporary after a forced reboot (Holding the power button for 10+ seconds).

I can confirm there's no dust or cracks causing it (I've even replaced the glass and screen itself, double-checked the connectors),

I'm not having this problem on my other Asus T100TA however, the only difference is that this Notebook uses Windows 8.1 and the Properly functioning one uses Windows 10 Education.

Asus Transformer T100: Update to Windows 10 failed.

I have been troubled with this one for a while. My tablet was updating to Windows 10 (while plugged into a ups) and failed. Actually received a failure notice. Now upon booting it will make it past the post screen (the bios and recovery menus too) but will not display anything past that. The cursor will show up on the screen when using the track pad or digitizer but will not do anything else.

When booting into the recovery menu all options say that I need to sign in as admin but cannot find any accounts on file. I try resetting the tablet but it errors out at 66%. I have attempted to roll it back to 8.1 but that fails as well. As does trying to load another OS file from bootable usb. At a complete loss and would like to avoid replacing the motherboard just to get it up and running again.

ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP500LA: Why does the screen turn black when I unplug it from the power?

My ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP500LA laptop’s screen goes dark when I unplug it from the power adapter. More specifically when I unplug the computer from charging the screen is barely seeable, its not a brightness issue, you really have to look at it to see whats happening. Then when you plug it back in, everything works like normal. I have tried everything like changing the battery, updated drivers, changed Intel’s graphic settings, pressed the brightness buttons the opposite way, and changed power options. But nothing works, is there a hardware/software problem I don’t know about that does this? Is there something I haven’t tried?

Asus Transformer T100: Why my device doesn't power on, blinks white led 6 times only?

Hi,

I brought ASUS Transformer T100 from USA almost 5 months ago. It was working perfectly since yesterday. I left it on charge at night and when i pressed power button in the morning it did not turned on but i noticed the led light near power button flashes white 6 times. I searched it over internet and applied some reset tips(pressing volume down + power, home + power) so on for about 1 minute but nothing worked. Could you please advise what is going on with my device. I am really getting frustrated now.

Asus Transformer: Save my as*, and I will invite you to my wedding.

I use ASUS TP550LA, core i5, windows 10 with 12GB RAM. I am experiencing a weird issue. If I use my laptop daily, it runs fine for 30-40 mins before the screen light goes off (even though the laptop stays on). Kinda like 99% dim screen, so pointing a flashlight at the screen shows everything is there (like the apps, youtube video running, browsers etc.).

If I do not use the laptop for 3-4 days, then it runs fine for 3-5 hours straight after turning it on. Then the same issue again if I start the laptop the next day.

You see, what I'm dealing with!! Even my nagging (to-be) wife doesn't play around like this. I hate the word fiancé, cause nagging goes so well with wife. You can't beat that.

Anyway what might be the issue with my laptop? Is it a graphics card issue or something else? You think it's a easy fix or need any parts replaced?
