HEADS UP: Don't reset the TPMS system unless you are comfortable with the error not coming back! I didn't see any trouble data, so I didn't mind trying with caution.

Due to a TPMS issue, I had to check what was causing it. I found an error related to the RF sensor (DTC C1313), but when I looked at the live data, I saw that the sensor was talking to the car. Because I saw communication and tire pressure, I reset the TPMS DTCs (WITH THE CAUTION IT MAY COME BACK AND TO BE CAREFUL).
The good thing is the error did not come back within ~10-15 minutes of other troubleshooting related to other issues with the car off and on, but in park.

To make sure the RF TPMS sensor isn't bad, how many miles do you need to put on these Kias to trigger the error again (if it comes back)? At this point, I think it may be better to replace the sensor to be safe, but we went this way because it's something that will be addressed within the next tire rotation if it comes back; the reset approach is being taken to see if we get lucky and it lost communication too long. I also left a copy of the report noting the issue so the bad sensor is known.

I’m having a issue with my 2015 Kia Rio 1.4L (GCC specs). Sometimes when I start the car, the ignition takes longer than usual, and when it finally starts, I hear this jerking sound from the engine if I shift into D or R. Once a month I have to change my spark plugs because my engine oil saturates my sparks plugs and causes my engine to stop with only a car jerking warning. Its like your running out of gas. So in order to keep my car running I change my spark plugs once a month. . I've taken it to Kia, they said replace engine. Other than this problem my car runs great. Also car loses oil
