Mac Pro First Generation: мой мак запускается все работает но изображения нет

При запуске мак все запускается, все кулера работают, но изображения нет. Я пробовал другую видео карту, все вынимать и похожие нужные действия, но эффекта нету

Чтож… Мой мак выдает красный индикатор на CPU B, который не отвечает за температуру а нижний

. Я пробовал поменять местами процессоры А и Б, но индикатор так и остался на Б, я предполагаю что материнская плата завершила свой срок, но хотелось бы надеяться на лучшее. У кого-то есть решение данной проблемы?

Был сделан апгрейд:

hdd -> ssd

cpu i5 6500 -> i7 6700k

после замены iMac не включается либо включается и кулер работает на полную мощность

Сброс SMC не помог

Но!

Покупать у Apple очень дорого, использовать переходники не очень хочется.

Transcend производит такие накопители (JetDrive 820, 825, 850, 855).

Внешне они похожи на blade ssd, количество контактов абсолютно одинаковое.

Но по непонятным причинам Transcend про поддержку iMac ничего не говорит.

на моем экране появились серые пятна от пыли в обоих нижних краях. насколько я знаю, в этой модели пыль невозможно очистить - или я ошибаюсь?

в связи с этим я решил заменить матрицу на новую но появилось два вопроса:

- существуют ли в принципе оригинальные матрицы и как их отличить от подделок?

- не появится ли пыль при установке новой матрицы?

для меня это важные вопросы, поскольку занимаюсь цветокоррекцией - для меня крайне важно правильное отображение цветов, и отсутствие пыли на экране.

My 2012 iMac fusion drive stopped loading. In recovery, I can verify the disk but not repair. I can see both drives but can not erase or reformat. Both drive names appear in red. When I attempt to reinstall Catalina I get the message "This disk doesn't use the GUID Partition Table Scheme." It's like the drive disappeared. Has anyone seen this before I may know what my options are? Thank you in advance.

So I while trying to install Linux Mint on my iMac, I accidentally deleted my Mac OS partition and recovery partition. I want to go back to High Sierra, which I was using before, but was only able to create an El Capitan bootable USB through the official Apple page.

I have now created a flash drive with Mac OS El Capitan on it, but when I start the machine and hold down Alt on my keyboard, it boots straight into Mint and does not let me select the installer USB.

Any idea what's going on?

That's weird, I thought the only purpose and business of ifixit was exactly doing this, and there is still no effort put into this.

Is there any plan for it? I am really looking forward to see it, and decide if I am getting a Mac Studio M4 for that reason... or not.

iMac Intel 27" Retina 5k Display: What is the display connector part on a late-2015 iMac?

I have a late-2015 iMac 5k with a broken display. It looks like the previous owner broke a couple pins on the logic board connector based on the couple missing pins on the original LVDS cable. Even when I connect a working display using a new cable it doesn’t function.

It’s not the display or the cable as I’ve tried both on another iMac 5K.

I’ve seen this (the logic board connector) referred to as a LVDS or a special eDP connector.

*Where can I buy this? And can I find someone to solder/replace it for me?

I’ve also tried reseating the cables with no luck. Is there something else I could try?

It’s one of the i7 models with m395x. I’d hate to junk it.
