Suddenly there is no sound coming out of my phone. I checked for "do not disturb" mode, any Bluetooth connected devices (and turned it off), and even went a step further and disabled my assistant app. I checked *#0*# for the speaker, and it didn't work. Through Samsung Members app I did an interactive check and then it showed that my "in-call speaker" is working but not my "media speaker". I tried to connect my headphones through the AUX jack and it didn't work as well.

From various support forums, I found out that similar problem is present with other users of A50 which leads me to think that the issue is a software problem, especially that it happened suddenly!

Any suggestions about how to resolve the issue, or at least, make sure that it is a software issue not a hardware one? (without resetting my phone).

Nokia C2-00: How do I re install software on my dead Nokia C2-00

I came across this software update notification on my C2 after which i choose download and install. All went fine until the end when it finally restarted and gave a message" contact Service in white and the screen was a ll black. I tried to switch off but it was all non responsive. Now nothing comes on so am here to know if this is salvageable or I just forget it.

My iPhone 3GS (32 gb) randomly turned off last night and now it won't turn back on. I know it was at least 70% charged the last time I used it, but I wasn't using it when it randomly turned off.

I tried to charge it with my wall adapter, car adapter, and I tried hooking it up with USB to my laptop and nothing has worked.

Do you think this a battery issue since it doesn't even show a "charging" symbol when I plug it in? It is an older phone and I've never replaced any parts on it.

I want to avoid having to restore since I will lose all my data and photos (which wasn't properly backed up the last time I connected to iTunes). :( Please help!

iPhone 4: My iPhone 4 got soaked, dried out, but will not power up

My iPhone 4 got completely soaked. It tried booting up when it was drying out. I didn't know the trick to forcing it to turn off. It finally turned off itself (scary). I dried it out for a couple of days (with sunlight and rice). It would not boot up. It also does not even recognize with it's plugged into the computer to charge. I changed out the battery, but it still does nothing. What should be my next step?

iPhone X: iPhone X restarts every few minutes after back housing replacement.

I replaced the back housing of a cracked iPhone X, a repair I’ve done many times to older model iPhones (from dents or cracked model 8 glass). All functions on the phone work, there are no issues with it other than it keeps restarting every 3 minutes or so. I have tried a hard reset as well as disconnecting and reconnecting all the internals.

Is this a motherboard issue? I’ve never experienced this problem before. I would assume if it’s as serious as the motherboard being damaged that I would have other issues.

iPhone 6: Proximity sensor not working after iPhone 6 screen swap.

Hello my Ifixit Friends.

Changing the screen on a customers Iphone 6 and I can't seem to get the proximity sensor working. I've taken it apart 8-10x now, ensure that the plastic "holders" for everything is positioned correctly and that the proximity sensor is dust free. It just doesn't work..

Front camera works, the light sensor works. (Auto adjusting brightness) everything except turning the screen off during calls...

Any tips? :)

P.S: All componets appear to be fully functional and I have no other screens / parts to test with currently.

This phone has had the screen and housing replaced, people on reddit suggested changing the battery but that didn’t fix it, thinking of changing the lightning port flex cable. any idea about where exactly is the “Prs0“ sensor?

iPhone 6s: Can an iPhone 6s Screen be transferred onto a normal iPhone 6?

I recently shattered my iPhone 6 screen and it's no longer working, and I'm extremely interested in the 6s but don't want to drop $900 for a new phone when mine just needs a new screen.

So, my question is I can purchase an iPhone 6s screen and install it to a iPhone 6, and would it work?

I'm extremely curious to if this is possible and willing to try.
