добрый день.

верхняя крышка принтера заклинила в открытом состоянии под углом в 45 градусов. снял эту крышку. рычаг с правой стороны принтера на котором крепится эта крышка в заклиненном состоянии. в чем причина?

Hi! I have some problem with my printer. There is two red light and one green light on wifi direct. I tried to reset it on my windows but I cannot search the printer itself even though it is connected via the USB and I still cant remove the red lights.

Brother Printer: Brother printer prints faded black text but color pages look normal

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

My Brother printer has started printing very faded black text, but color prints still look completely normal. Photos and colored graphics come out fine, yet black documents look light and patchy. Sometimes there are faint horizontal lines across the page as well.

Here's what I've already tried:

Ran the built-in cleaning cycle several times.
Checked that the black cartridge isn't empty.
Removed and reinstalled the cartridge.
Printed from both Windows 11 and my Android phone.
Updated the printer driver.

The strange thing is that the problem is exactly the same regardless of which device I print from, so I'm wondering if it's a printhead issue or something else inside the printer.

Before taking it apart, is there anything else I should test or inspect? Has anyone had a similar issue with a Brother printer where only black output is affected?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Brother Printer: hl--l2395dw no power after surge

Sorry used generic device name device not found. After a home electrical repair (household) my printer does not power up. The plug is not removable so that's not something i can swap. device does not power up on outlets that are proven good. Is there a component (fuse or power supply that can be swapped to fix this printer?

Just for background my device was connected to the outlet when the electriction "tested" turning on power.

Brother Printer MFC-J6920DW: Shutting down when plugged in.

When I plugged in to the outlet, the screen says ,"All functions will be disabled" then it says" Stand by on/off resume". Then it shuts down.

work force pro printer 4630: Problem downgrading the firmware of an Epson WF-7840

Good morning everyone,

I've had the bad idea to upgrade the firmware of our Epson WF-7840 (version CD17M6 now).

Now, our non epson cartridges are not recognised anymore.

I've search the web about how to downgrade the firmware. I found the procedure, found how to put the printer in "recovery mode" and, on the Epson website, I found the "Recovery Mode Firmware version CB08LC" for the Epson WF-7840.

But it doesn't work...

First problem, the model of the printer does not appear in the "Epson firmware updater" but it sees that a printer is connected.

Second problem, and it is where it stops, when I launch the Update, it fails with a message on the printer's screen "Data file not found".

I tried with my mac (macbook pro 16" m1 max) and with an older macbook pro from 2009 with the same result. I tried with another USB cable and still no luck.

What am I doing wrong?

Brother MFCL2700: Printer won't stay connected to network, drops constantly!

I bought this printer a year ago. Since getting a new modem/router, the printer WILL NOT stay connected to my wifi. I am able to successfully configure it and it works for an hour or so but the next day it displays an error message of "check connection".

I am beyond frustrated and I refuse to reset it up each and every time I have to print. I called Brother and their response was that the printer needs to be within three to five feet of the router (???!?!?). They said that the printers are "very sensitive" yet it's a "wifi issue, not a printer issue".

I never would have spent $150 for a wifi printer that needs to be literally next to my modem to work. I may as well have it wired directly. I have a small condo (1000 square feet) and the printer is in the room next to where my modem is located. It's maybe twenty or thirty feet away. There is no solid wall separating the two rooms--there's a large double doorway between them.

I'm so frustrated and upset that something so new and not inexpensive is useless. Do I have any options to keep the machine from constantly dropping the connection? I read somewhere else about "fixing" the IP address but before I mess with that want to make sure that is the right thing to do. Thanks!

I push the 'print' button' and , although it make some sound, and one of the wheels is turning (the one on the middle bottom) the ribbon doesn't move.

How to fix it?

Although I have reloaded with Canon KP-108IN paper, I get the message that the paper size is incorrect and my photos are not printing. The paper goes through but exits unprinted.

Epson Printer: Epson Workforce 1100 prints test page only

My printer sounds and move like it's printing, but the paper shows nothing.

I had cleaned the heads at least 10 times. The test page prints ok, but only.

All others print in white.

The noozle check shows yellow, cian and magenta, but no black.

Minha impressora só imprime a página de teste.

Já fiz limpeza de cabeças umas dez vezes. No Nozzle check aparecem as cores mas nada em preto.

Todas as outras tentativas a folha sai em branco.

Brother Printer: Exit Fingers (Flaps over rollers near page exit) vibrates violently

I inherited a Brother HL-L2351DW printer recently from a cousin who was moving to another state. The printer was barely used and had only 80 pages in the page count. For a few months the printer worked just fine but one day suddenly the right exit finger (that plastic flap over the rollers from where the page comes out) started making a loud noise. On closer inspection i saw it was getting hit by the gears that push the paper out. The left side exit finger on the same printer on the same assembly doesnt even move while this one violently flaps as if its trying to break away. Anyone faced similar issues with their Brother printers and managed to fix it?

You can remove plug wait for a minute then plug it in hold on button and plug back in. It will then stay on for a short time then turn off.
