White-Westinghouse Refrigerator: Westinghouse N660G Refrigerator compressor not running?

So the fans are running but the compressor isn't.

Compressor feels hot and so does the condenser coil. There is a 3 wired device on the condenser. I assume its a thermal trip out. I'm hoping it will reset once it cools down....

Cant locate the manual

Samsung Refrigerator: Why is my freezer not freezing?

Hi everybody :)

I tried to find the why for more days now, and am now on my way to give up.

I have a RSH1DTMH american fridge-freezer, and have some problems on the freezer part, fridge working well after mooving the temperature sensor.

Freezer is not freezing, i can’t tell at what temerature it keeps, but certainly above 0°C because water put in stays a water.

I checked the temperature sensor with the ohm meter, and it seems OK, checked the defrost heater (manual forced defrost) - works well, and the fan inside the freezer - is OK.

I’m not sure where is the defrost thermostat, i see 2 pieces that looks similar to the thermostat I saw on some videos on youtube treating different fridges, but i’m not sure if it’s this and anyway seems more complicated to get out because the wires going out of it doesn’t go to one place.

What’s more when the fridge is turned on I can see that the freezer is trying to do something, because after few minutes you can see a lot of frost on one tube. The other thing is that temperature on the panel is getting lower to reach after a long time the temperature that I set so -19°C. It takes a long time, between half a day and one day, but finally it shows and stays at -19 but that’s not right, because the water put inside doesn’t even freeze.

Join some pictures to show what I’m trying to explain :)

Any help appreciated :) !!

It went into forced operation, but it didn’t make any sound.

I mesured again the sensor while the dispaly is showing -25°C, I join the picture because I’m not sure if I did it with correct setting of ohm-meter.

here’s how it’s frosted at the moment

my estimation is that it’s around +20°C inside the freezer

And here is the image of the temerature sensor

It was attached to the tube going out of the silver reservoir with a plastic attach but i took it out to be able to disconnect it totally

GE Profile Refrigerator PGCS1RKZ: GE refrigerator PGCS1RKZASS getting warm intermittently

Our refrigerator is getting warm intermittently. Fridge gets warm and freezer mostly seems to stay working, although has warmed a little a couple times but we have not had to pull the food out of it yet (can’t keep perishable food in the fridge. The compressor seems to be working, as well as the fan that blows on it (fast enough that can’t really see the blades). The fan in the back middle of the freezer seems to be spinning well enough too. There are two vents on the left side of the fridge that connect to the door with the ice maker, these vents sometimes get very warm (almost hot to the touch) as well as the area around them. It seems like this is connected to how warm the fridge is getting. When it warms up, it does it pretty quickly and gets to high 60’s by morning (happens often at night). I can usually get the refrigerator working again by messing with it, but haven’t found a consistent method. Sometimes I unplug it for a bit, sometimes just using “turbo cool” for a little while seems to get it going again. I have also put it in diagnostic mode and tried reset and a few other things. I have tried the command to toggle defrost cycle, but it is difficult for me to know what the current state is. Usually some combination of these things gets it working again. I thought it was the thermistor in the fridge but it seems to read the temperature okay and the diagnostic test for those said pass for all of them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Samsung Refrigerator: Water is dispensing even with no filter, not going through the filter

I have previously been successful in changing the water filter in my Samsung refrigerator model # RS2530BWP. This time, the filter is completely dry, the water going to the ice maker and the dispenser is not going through the filter. Also, the dispenser works fine when the filter is removed - as though the water is bypassing the filter all together. Is this possible? Is this a housing defect, a valve issue, or other??
LG Refrigerator: LG Fridge lfxs30766s not cooling after coil cleaning

I have the lfxs30766s model and the freezer and fridge are not cooling. I have unplugged and plugged the unit back in with 33F temp for fridge and -4F temp for Freezer with the Ice Plus ON as recommended by LG and it didn’t work. I have already cleaned the coils. My fridge has a solid state relay (I believe) with an overload capacitor. Capacitor seems OK. I checked the large CAP on the PCB and it’s OK. I removed CON201, verified the voltage the got up to 200VAC, pressed the test button, heard several beeps, but no LED. I then plugged back in the CON201 and restarted the unit and did not see any LEDs. I hear the compressor kicking on and the fan starts. I left the fridge powered overnight and this morning it was still warm in the fridge and freezer. What can I check next?

Samsung Refrigerator - RF26J7500: Samsung Icemaker I/R Sensor Question

I have the Samsung French Door on top, Icemaker Upper left corner Freezer on the bottom, Model #RF26J7500SR refridgerator. The icemaker has always been a hassle, but at least it made ice. It no longer does so. I’ve tried everything but replacing the Icemaker/Auger Assembly/Control board. Right now it hasn’t made ice in almost 2 weeks. Not even in test mode (I hit the test button and hear the *DING-DING*, so I know the I/M is operational). I’ve defrosted it using the “Fd” forced defrost mode and steamer, so there is absolutely no ice buildup on anything. It simply won’t drop ice. I did remove the I/M and the auger assembly just to inspect them and make sure there was no icebuildup anywhere in the back of the ice room, and I did notice my auger assembly has a hairline crack in it. Could this possibly be the issue? Also, is the I/R sensor located on the auger assembly supposed to emit a visible beam? Because it does not. I’ve also checked my compressor and evaporator coils and they’re all clean. I have placed a thermometer in the ice room and it hovers around 10F degrees. I know it won’t drop ice until it reaches 9F, but my thermometer could be off. Although I do have the freezer temp set to -8F. Any suggestions? Based on everything I’ve read here about the disaster that is the Samsung Icemaker, I’m thinking I need to replace all the components, i.e., I/M, auger assembly and the control board. And do that epoxy thing to seal the ice room.

GE Refrigerator DFE29JSD: GE Adora Refrigerator evaporator coil frosting over

I have a GE model DFE29JSDASS that is 5.5 years old. Recently, we noticed the temperature display read 69 degrees, so we knew we had a problem. I pulled out all the drawers and shelves and exposed the evaporator coil and fan. The first thing I noticed was the fan was not running. After unplugging the fan and plugging it back in, it immediately turned on and has been running since. Overnight, that alone dropped the temperature back down around 35.

However, now I noticed that the evaporator coil is covered with a substantial amount of frost - looks more like snow. I defrosted it once with a hair dryer and it was back in a couple of hours. So it seems there may be more of an issue that just the fan. Not sure what steps to take next. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
