Samsung 20 inch monitor S20B300B: What to do if display gets damaged after cleaning with chemical?

Yesterday I was cleaning my monitor with Colin (cleaning agent). I directly sprayed it on display and wiped it with a dry cloth. After cleaning, I thought to turn on my PC and check for the display but it worked fine. Today when I turn it on my PC I saw that there were some blue lines in the middle of the display. What should I do now? Please assist me

Samsung SyncMaster 245B: Is my panel dead?

Hi ! I'm new to this site, so please forgive any mistake I might make in regards to my description and please forgive my poor English as well.

Here's my issue: my screen (a Samsung SyncMaster 245B) stopped working recently, the blue LED indicating power still lights up, but the panel itself stays black (it usually shows a grey box when nothing is connected to the screen at the very least). So I'm wondering if the panel itself is dead or if it might be another problem.

And I'm also wondering in case of the actual death of the panel, is it worth replacing or should I straight up buy another screen instead?

Thanks for your time and your answers to come ! :)

Samsung Display SE790C Series S34E790C: High Pitched noise from this Display – Is there a way to fix it?

I’ve had this display (Samsung 34” Wide screen) for 3 years, and now it has started to emit a high pitched noise. It’s so uncomfortable that I can’t work properly. I also have tinitus, which makes it worse… :(

Can someone please advise me what to do? Googling about this, high pitched noises are common for monitors (I also had it on an older display, but it vanished when I set the brightness on max). One solution is to apply a lot of glue on some of the components on the motherboard.

My question is: Where on the motherboard should I apply this?

It’s probably easy to open the monitor, even though I can’t find any guides on the net…

PLEASE HELP – My brain is about to explode! :((

Samsung SyncMaster 245B: Do I need a power supply or inverter recap?

**Due to the condition of the panel (black spots from wet storage), I do not plan on spending a lot of money on repairs for this monitor - $20 max with margin of error. As much as I like 1920x1200 16:10, it isn’t worth spending a lot on a monitor with panel damage :(.**

After this monitor is on for a few minutes, the unit has a audible hum - a dead giveaway for bad capacitors. I have ordered 35V 220uf capacitors for the inverter to see if that fixes the issue, but if this doesn’t, what should I focus on that’s cheap? The capacitors on the power supply look okay, so I don’t think it’s those although I do suspect it having experience working on multiple monitors I was given in the past that tell me it probably is. If I let it run for a while it clears up and goes nearly silent, but it's still an issue.

If it is the power supply caps, is it okay to ignore the AC side and just focus on the DC parts of the display? It usually is safe to do so in my experience, but I have yet to do it on a monitor with more then 2 CCFL connectors - this has 6.

In addition to those checks, I did run it without the inverter connected to the power supply and it was more or less gone at the same time I was checking it out to isolate the fault - hence why I’m working on the inverter first.

Samsung LS32D85KTSR: Screen flickering & horizontal lines at the bottom and top

Recently, my computer screen has been experiencing occasional flickering and permanent horizontal lines at the top and bottom. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue by replacing the HDMI cable, trying different ports, and reinstalling graphics and monitor drivers, the problem persists. I suspect a hardware issue but lack the expertise to diagnose it. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate any assistance in identifying and resolving the issue.

Samsung Display: Why does the LCD screen turn white?

Samsung SyncMaster 2233SW monitor which is plugged into a security camera system's NVR has a perfect picture for just a short time until it blinks out to thin vertical colored lines and quickly fades to white. After shutting the monitor down for a few minutes and powering back on, the picture is normal for a few minutes and then back to white. I have already changed all of the recommended capacitors and it didn't help. New inverter/transformer? New screen?

Samsung Display: Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD flickers when warmed up.

I have an old SyncMaster 2333HD (manufactured in March 2009) that is flickering around the edges of the display at a constant rate. Closest comparison I can think of is a CRT with a low refresh rate. This makes the display nearly unusable without giving me a headache. It starts after the display has been running for 15+ minutes usually but when the monitor is freshly powered on after cooling down it is fine. I have attempted to reset it, try a different DVI cable, plug it directly into my computer (it is using a DisplayLink adapter since my Mac only supports 1 external monitor) and even taking it apart and reseating all connectors. It initially started with just the top of the display but it has gone down to the bottom also. Is this the CCFL backlighting going out?
