I have a LG oven and stove top, the burners are having a continuous clicking noise with a the sparkler getting ignited. I tried turning it off and cleaning it - but did not help. What do I need to do ? Also can I use the gas meanwhile - will that be safe ?

GE Wall Oven: Are oven switches interchangeable?

Hello,

I have a 20+ year old GE Wall oven.

Model jkp37g0l1wg

The top oven's baking element just stopped working. I tested it and the element has proper resistance so it's not the element.

I'm assuming it's the oven switch because it's not sending power to the element, which brings me to my next question.

I took the panel off and the 2 switches look completely interchangeable...they both have the same wiring and look exactly the same. However, they have 2 different part numbers, WB22X5143 and WB22X5140.

I'd rather have the top oven than the bottom one so it's not a safety issue for the baby running around. Any idea if I can simply swap these switches out (bottom switch to top oven)? Thanks in advance.

I have a Frigidaire professional stove, model number is PCFE3080AFG. I bought it about 6 months ago, and recently the screen has been seriously lagging behind, like I will touch it and it will take about 2-6 seconds to respond. This is highly annoying when I’m trying to cook. Has anyone had any experience with this or had something similar and found a solution?

Modelnv51k7770dg/aa. Put it on self clean mode. Turned off no power. Replaced the DE47-20037A Samsung Range Oven High Limit Thermostat Thermal Fuse. Powered unit. Now error code for door latch. Tried resetting the latch. Motor feels hot but not cycling. Replacement only option? Could be the control module? Ill consult google and YouTube for more.

GE Stove: GE CAFE Range Replacement of Touch Screen/Controller

This question is for GE Cafe dual oven model CC2S950P2M1S1 or any similar model. The extra C in front indicates a Canadian model.

Just thinking ahead, I noticed that there is an info option on the touch screen menu of the display panel that provides the model # and software version.

If this controller ever needs to be replaced, does a GE technician or a person with the right tools have to program this controller to match the particular model. If not, how does the controller board identify the range model?

Hi,

I have a manual gas oven with a Copreci-type MT22300 (or very similar) temperature controller on the oven.

The oven temperature is about 30-40 degC too low.

I cannot find any instructions on calibrating the temperature. It has a small screw on the front of the regulator/thermostat that I think is for this. Can anyone help?

This oven does not have a knob that allows the temperature scale to be changed. The numbers are printed on the body of the oven behind the dial. Nor is it electronic.

I have a Bosch stove where the oven door won't stay closed. There are so many videos on the net with instructions for putting a folded towel by the hinge and closing the door. That works temporarily, but is not a lasting fix. If someone knows of a permanent mechanical fix, please let me know.

Stove: Orange Flame - All Burners

Propane company replaced the regulator on the tank, but didn't help. The propane has been sitting in the tank for at least a year (no deliveries). Appliance tech came, but found no obvious causes. Has been burning orange (no yellow) for last 3 weeks. I live in Massachusetts, where the climate has gotten much colder recently. No changes to cleaning or recent home improvements. What's causing the flames to be orange?
