iPad 2: How do I fix "iPad is disabled" error?

Hi,

In my tiny community, I'm known for fixing iPhones and iPads. The other day I got a very interesting iPad 2 (iOS 7.1) which has been totally disabled with wrong passcode tries. The owner swears she always entered the right passcode and it didn't unlock.

She even tried so long that now the iPad only says: "iPad is disabled. Connect to iTunes." When you connect the iPad to iTunes, it says it's locked with a passcode. Really? Who would've thought. :)

I even went to her place to connect the iPad to her computer because I naively thought the iTunes there will definitely say I should enter the passcode. Well it didn't. She of course doesn't want to lose all the data, because she obviously didn't back up this iPad in a very long time.

I'm playing with the idea of opening the iPad and disconnecting the battery. Do you guys have any experience with that? When I reconnect the battery and turn the iPad on, will it offer me a chance to enter the passcode?

Tablet: How can I fix the charging port on my Android tablet?

I put the charger in my tablet. I have to hold it down or pull it back to charge it but when I tried charging it today, I think I pulled it back little too far, and now it won't charge. I tried adjusting the charging port but it seems to be loose and refuses to charge. I used a USB connection to the laptop but the tablet turns on and says "force to shut down." So, I know it still works but I just can't charge it. I know it's not the charger. Does anyone have any suggestions to charge my tablet without the charger? Please, I really need help. Thank you.

Kindle Fire: Screen shows only "Kindle Fire"

I cannot get my Kindle Fire to boot. When it is powered on, the screen shows the Kindle Fire logo, and that is it. I noticed that someone else had the same question, but the only answers were for a hard reset. I have tried that numerous times. I've also tried charging it fully and letting it discharge completely before recharging again, all with the same result. I called Amazon and they said, "Sorry, out of warranty, we can give you a discount on a new one." Is this fixable?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0: The Tab is in an endless reboot loop.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is turning on and off continuously. I connected it with the charger and I pressed the power button. This is stopping the endless reboot, but when I try again I'm faced with the same problem.

The battery is 100% full.

How do I fix it?

iPad 2: Display screen colors distorted

My little sister dropped my iPad 2 on the floor. The colors on the screen are a bit out of their normal color. The screen looks a bit also like an old version of a t.v. with scratching lines. The keyboard is green. Once you unlock the iPad the screen looks like the colors of a 3-D screen. Help please! http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UXfSdG-CwYU

I recently bought a new charger and the first hour it was charging since it was on 0% i then took the charger out and the tablet wont turn on, i tried EVERYTHING, including touching the screen while holding down on button, holding down the volume buttons while holding down the power button, i even let it sit with the charger in for like 24hours and repeating those steps. STILL NOTHING. is it the charger? any suggestions?

Hello! I got my Lenovo tablet in June of 2013, but didn't begin using it until the following month. I wasn't frequently getting on my tablet until September of that year. I traveled with it across a few states and it had problems turning on, but managed to follow through until March of 2014. I left the laptop plugged in and charging for a few hours (to try and fix it), but it wouldn't turn back on. I don't want to pay obscene amounts to fix it or buy a new one, but if that's the case then I'll deal. Can you help me fix it ?

Kindle Fire: Intermittent USB Power Port - Common Problem

Looks like my wife's Kindle Fire has helped us join the ever-increasing club of owners that are having issues with the USB power port. We're having to wiggle the plug ''just right," until we see that it's actually charging. Sometimes that works... sometimes it doesn't. Doing a Google search returns a lot of people having the same issue, but other than teardowns, no one is saying that this is fixable in any other way than replacing the entire motherboard.

I would love for this site to focus on this component to see if it's prone to coming loose or if it's the likely cause of an intermittent connection.

Is there any chance someone could take a look and possibly help a whole lot of people with one assessment ?

I was in the middle of checking Facebook when my tablet randomly turned off despite being fully charged. I left it charging for more than 3 days and still nothing. I tried holding down the buttons and even connecting it to the computer to see if my computer would recognize my tablet, but still nothing. Can anyone give me some tips on what to do?

My Kindle is charged, but it will not turn on. It suddenly stopped working. The green light illuminating the On switch doesn't come on and the Kindle doesn't respond which I slide the On switch.

RCA RCT6773W22: cannot reset my tablet to factory default

I forgot my pin and even after resetting the tablet to factory default, the system is still asking for my email and password. It will not take my credential, even though it is correct.
