TI-84 Plus CE: My calculator battery life indicator isn't draining

My ti-84 ce plus has been glitching up lately, first it was abad battery, but now it has the same symptom still, i think something may have corrupted, the battery life indicator in the top right corner won’t drain

It’s definitely not a screen brightness issue. Once, it started working after I switched batteries around a couple times and shook the calculator, but became impossible to turn on again the next day.

TI-84 Plus CE: My ti-84 plus ce turns off on bright white screen?

I cannot find my problem anywhere in the forums

when i turn it off it shows blank bright white screen

My Texas instrument calculator TI-84 plus CE Works excellent except for when you turn it off it goes off on a blank white screen .

when you turn it on it goes on normally however, when it is on you cannot adjust the contrast or the brightness of the screen, you cannot dim it or even make it more brighter .

please take note that all buttons are functioning properly

and I have tried everything

hard reset pressing second delete and back reset button

also trying to reinstall OS didn't work

also try to clear memory several times same thing

remove the battery for more than 10 minutes then put it back same thing

also try the self test the brightness indicator changes values on the screen but still do not dim or brighten

please advise urgent thank you

Texas Instruments TI-30Xa Scientific Calculator has no red band or anything like that going through it it is stuck on zero and it will not shut off at all . How do I get it to shut shut off so it does not run down the batteries in it?

Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus: What is this missing component on the logic board?

Opened up my TI-83 Plus calculator (its an older model: 8TA837MB-30B). The board says TI-83 (F) on it. When I opened it, an inductor in the L6 slot was missing. This is located near the I/O jack to connect to the computer. A commercial picture of the board is shown below with where the L6 inductor is supposed to be. I just can’t find out what value of that inductor is so I can replace it. Any help would be much appreciated. I’m doing this more for soldering practice rather than just buy a new board and replace it. Thanks!

My calculator sometimes turns on and works fine. However, other times does not turn on, it’s not a bettery problem, I think it might be a screen problem as sometimes when i press the ON button, lines appear and disapear quickly on the screen. What can I do or does is it possible to repair?

So I know my calculator turns on properly by the initial text box, then it has the black bar that should blink, but once I press a button it freezes. Nothing gets it to unfreeze aside from removing the batteries (which aren’t the problem since I’ve tried new ones). Thanks in advance.

My button seems does not working very well. I mean some of them. For example, when I press 8, it give output ‘vwyz08’ instead of just ‘8’. This happens to some of the button as well. I am not sure why.

I found an abandoned but fully working TI-83 Plus at my previous lab of which I am very happy; however, all but one of its rubber grips got lost.

Tha american site of Texas Instruments ships them only in the USA (I live in the UK).

Anywhere else I can get them from?
