iPhone 6: Why is the wifi and the bluetooth signal weak?

Hi!

I am the only one in the house with this problem - When I go to my room, the wifi-signal on my iPhone disappears. I only have wifi-signal if I am in the room, where the router actually is. If I bring another iPhone or iPad to the room, they still have a good wifi-signal. And no, it has not always been like this. It started like 2 months ago.

I have another problem - the bluetooth-signal is bad as well..

What to do?

I have an iphone 4. I recently replaced the back glass from cracked after dropping it. It worked fine. Then 1 week later a baseball hit it at a baseball game (inside a otterbox case) Phone backglass cracked again at rear camera area. Now no one can hear me talk in a call unless I am on speakerphone.

I am confused on what mic I may need to replace. The top or bottom. Or if its could be something other than a mic that is the issue.

iphone se 2020, reboot every 3 minutes, panic logs showed missing sensor mic1 and thermalmonitorhd unhealthy, after doing much research I came to the conclusion that a new charge port flex was the solution. Ordered an OEM SE2020 charge port flex from a reputable retailer, because from my research the aftermarket or iphone 8 charge flexs don't have the thermal sensor that was necessary. Replaced the part, thought all was well, my phone lasted ~20 hours without rebooting until the problem returned. missing sensor mic1 again. thermalmonitorhd unhealthy. I had also replaced the battery at the same time, not sure if that matters. Any ideas? i'm about ready to give up and just order a used phone on swappa.

iPhone 6: Connect locked phone to wifi so it will delete itself remotly?

Hi,

I have an iPhone 6 and I forgot the passcode to it. The homebutton has been replaced because it got damaged under screen replacement, so if I restore it through iTunes it will brick and be stuck at error code 53.

I have remotly deleted it through iCloud, but it is not connected to the internet so nothing happens. Is there any way to do this? :/

iPhone 6: Why does my iPhone 6 only work when plugged in?

I have dropped my iPhone a few times and the screen has cracked. But one day I was just using my phone as per normal and then it suddenly turns off and repeats the apple booting up logo then turns off and repeats this for a bit then stops. When I plug my phone in it repeats the booting up progress for about 20 mins then boots up and sticks on 1% and when I remove it from the charger then phone turns off. I have tried opening up the phone disconnected and reconnected the battery to see if that was the problem and it has not helped any suggestions on what I can do? Im not sure if the battery is broken or if something else in the phone needs replacing.

Hi. My iPhone 7 Plus fell in the pool and I dried it .

When I tried to switch it on, it showed the apple logo and then the screen just goes dark and then back to the apple logo in loop. It just wont turn on. Please help:(

iPhone 5s: Ripped the home button cable, can I still fix it?

I took apart my phone and ripped the home button cable, but I didn't tear the cable, I detached it from the screen side. Now the home button does not work at all. I was wondering if there was an easy way to reattach it instead of having to buy a new part. I know the touch ID might not work, but I just want to regain the home button's abilities.

Just to be clear, the cable was not ripped in any way, as you can see by the pictures below it was separated near the home button.

iPhone 6: iPhone 6 WiFi/Bluetooth Not Working

So for the past 6 months or so, my GPS has never worked accurately on my iPhone 6. It would get close to my location, but would always lag behind a bit. I never worried about it because if I'm travelling I usually get my wife to use hers.

BUT, now I've found a need for accurate GPS on a daily basis... So I purchased a new antenna and replaced it.

The new antenna worked (properly - was recognizing WiFi, had bluetooth capability, GPS worked, everything) for about 20 minutes, and now the option to turn on WiFi/Bluetooth/GPS is completely disabled.

Like. If I go to Settings > WiFi, the button is just grey. If I go to Settings > Bluetooth, all I get is the circular loading symbol and it won't stop "loading."

So... I talked to someone and he recommended restoring my phone to factory settings. I done so. I erased all content/settings and set it up as a new iPhone. The problem persists. I can not connect to WiFi, I cannot use bluetooth, GPS does not work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

I have an iPhone XR that is stuck in a boot loop. It happened after attempting to back-up the phone using iTunes (the phone’s memory is full), and I got a message that said that there was an error during the backup. I unplugged the phone and all the apps were stuck and wouldn’t open, so I tried restarting the phone. It has been stuck in a boot loop since, when it turns on I just see an Apple logo, and sometimes it blinks. Force restarting doesn’t help, it just keeps showing the Apple logo after it turns off.

I also tried to bring the phone to “recovery mode” and I see an option on iTunes that prompts me to either update or restore, but after the update downloads it tells me that it couldn’t update because the “firmware is not compatible”. I read about DFU recovery mode, but it seems like that would do a full restore (losing data).

After some research I found some programs like: Fonelab, iMyFone D-back, Dr.fone, and Tuneskit. There is a trial option, but I think I will have to pay to use it, which I’m willing to do, but I want to make sure it will work.

Does anyone have any experience with these programs, or something similar? Or is there any other way to try and restore the iPhone’s OS without losing data? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as there’s a lot of data that I’d hate to lose…

Hello -

I didn't see any guides tackling this particular issue: My on/off switch is not working. I'm ready to change carriers, and I need to turn my iPhone on/off a lot during jailbreak/unlock.

When I apply pressure to it, it simply doesn't turn off. I'm thinking some lever is not making contact or something?

What is this system like, and is it worth trying to fix it myself? Or should I just get a new phone?

iPhone 4: No Service after Teardown :/

I had completed the teardown of the iPhone 4, but now I am stuck with No Service even with an activated ATT SIM card. Does anyone know where I might have messed up in the process? The phone works perfectly except for the fact that it can't make calls or texts because of no service. Thanks.

I just bought myself a 2nd hand iPhone without checking it thoroughly enough. everythings perfect except when i tried to call. Theres this really loud crackling static sound heard by both me and the other party and we cant hear each other AT ALL. I own an iPhone 5, running ios7.1. I used voice record and that worked just fine. can play music too. even when i turn on the speaker theres the loud crackling/static sound. please help. ):

Are there any exterior differences between the two for quick identification? I work at a repair shop and people never know what phones they have, so quick identification of models is extremely useful.
