Bought a phone from my friend he said his sister was selling it because she switched to a different phone. (Samsung) So when I got the phone turns out the icloud was locked and he told me she doesn't remember her password and I cant get in touch with him or her what can I do to unlock my phone?

iPhone 4S: trying to restore but itunes says enter passcode

Hi, my iPhone was disabled from too many password attempts, now as I try to restore it, iTunes says I need to enter a passcode, but on my phone, it will only go to the emergency call screen and won't allow me to enter my passcode. I'm not sure how to get this to work.

iPhone 5: iPhone 5 front glass panel separating/lifting away from body?

Very oddly, on my iPhone 5, I noticed the entire front panel/glass/LCD/digitizer assembly is separating or detaching from the body at the top right corner.

It appears to be otherwise intact. It is still functional.

I have never dropped the device on anything other than carpet from farther than a few feet.

There is approximately a 1-2mm visible gap between the bottom of the glass panel and the top of the metal surrounding strip.

Pushing the panel back into the body causes the panel to flex a little, but it does not stay in place.

Any ideas about what happened and how it might be possible to fix it?

I keep it in a Mophie case, in a front pant pocket or a suit breast pocket. Between the rigid case and where I keep it, I don't think the case is bent as the rear panel is quite flat still.

What I meant by "flex" is that I can push the corner down so it is true to the back panel, but it doesn't stay in place.

iPhone 6: Touch ID not working after screen replacement?

I have made a screen replacement on my iPhone 6. Now the touch ID does not work any more. I have read that if the home button flex cable is damaged, this can occur. Is that really so? The button itself is working just fine.

I know for a fact that the home button can not be replaced because then touch id will not work, plus you can never upgrade the phone again without getting a error 53. Can you confirm this?

So my last question. Can I replace the home button flex cable or is that also coded to the chip or home button touch id?

iPhone 4: iPhone 4 is working but screen is black?

Yesterday I dropped my phone, and it was working fine when I picked it up to check it, but a few minutes later the screen went black. I know it was still working, because I was still receiving phone calls, texts, and mail. I even took a picture with it.

I've tried holding the home and lock button. I also tried holding the lock button while constantly pressing the home button, but I think the problem with this is that my home button barely worked before the drop. I've tried to reset it and put it in DFU mode, but nothing is working. :( Note that I can't take it to the shop because it's jailbroken.

iPhone 5s: Restore error 9 and 14 after fixing iPhone screen. What to do?

My iPhone 5s screen cracked, so I replaced the screen. When I replaced the screen the battery wouldn't charge, so I turned the phone off. When I turned it back on again, it was stuck on the Apple logo. I then restored it—but in the middle of the restore, the phone stopped working. Now the phone is stuck on the "connect to iTunes" error and when I try to restore it, I get mostly error 9. I tried all my computers (2 Macs, and a PC) and all the USB hubs that they have. What do I do? Thanks.

Since the screen was a third party, all I did was was restore the iPhone with the screen disconnected. Once it shows that the restore finished on my computer, I reconnected the screen and finished the setup.

iPhone 6 Plus: iPhone isn't recognized by computer as a device?

My iPhone 6 plus will not be recognized as a device in my PC. I cannot sync to anything to add music or any kind of iTunes media that isn't instantly downloaded to my iPhone.

My phone will charge but my PC won't give a prompt saying a device is plugged in. This is not an issue with drivers because I have troubleshooted already and I have tried a different cord and even a different PC.

Any suggestions would be helpful, cheers.

Hello!

Today my iPhone's screen just turned off and doesn't seem to work. I believe it's a software problem, so I thought the best idea would be to force a reboot (you know, holding the lock and home buttons at the same time). However, I don't have a lock button, since it has been broken for some months now.

What can I do? Any tips on how to drain the battery of the iPhone as quickly as possible? I have started to send Messages from my Mac because that way it will be forced to emit the notification, but this could take hours.

iPhone 6: Ear speaker low sound when making calls

I have a customer that brought his iPhone 6 saying his ear speaker volume was very low and he could barely hear what the other person was saying even in a quiet room. I did some tests and when I use the recorder to record my voice and listen to it through the ear speaker the sound is crisp and clear, I hear very well.

When I try to make a phone call, the sound is very low, even with the volume at maximum. I tried switching SIM card and even replacing the ear speaker and flex cable.

What could be causing this problem ?

For two weeks now, my side volume buttons haven't worked. When I try to change the volume, the little speaker picture doesn't even show up. I can't hear any of my incoming calls or text messages. But if I play music on my iPhone, I can hear it. So my speaker does work. I can't find any information about what I have to do. My phone is updated to iOS 5.1.1, and it isn't jailbroken.

I dropped my phone about a week ago and it landed on the back side. Now my screen has lines of color going through it, but no picture. The rest of the phone seems to work properly.

I work on iPhones often. With this one, I opened it and replaced the screen. Before I closed it up, I tried to turn it on, but it would not turn on. I also tried to plug it in, and it repeatedly made the charging sound.

iPhone 4: When making calls, the other party can't hear me.

When I make a call through the handset, the other party can't hear me—but when I turn on speaker phone, they can hear me just fine. I can hear them, and the ringer works just fine.

Any thoughts?

Oh, and also, I can hear myself in the handset in an echo.

iPhone 4: iPhone4 won't restore and shows Error 21

My phone won't turn on, but shows the Apple logo when I plug it in (either to the wall charger or the computer). Then, it goes to the Connect to iTunes screen and when I connect it to iTunes it tells me that I need to restore the phone. It will get all the way to "preparing iPhone for restore" then will say, "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (21)." I tried to disable my computer security, but it did the same thing. Does anyone know what else I could do to fix it? Please help!
