iPhone 11: iPhone 11 front camera not working with new front camera assembly

I have a iPhone 11 which has a broken face-id and non-functioning selfie camera. I decided to order a new front camera assembly as that would at least restore the front camera however it doesn’t appear to work. I was wondering if this is a paired component and therefore I would need to go to Apple or if I have damaged something.

iPhone 11: Microphone static/not working after back glass repair

I just had my back glass lazered and replaced. Since then i’m experiencing microphone issues. I’m wondering if the tech didn’t damage a microphone with heat. I would love for someone to help me out and tell me which mic it is. All mics sound normal when I use videos.

What works

Voice calls (I think, although a few have complained)

Video both front and back (i swear they all sound normal, but maybe i’m crazy)

What doesn’t work

Siri

text-to-speech

Voice memo (sounds like straight static)

Facetime and Speakerphone (sounds like static as well)

I’ve done it all when it comes to software. Even did a complete wipe and reset. It’s got to be a hardware issue I think, Any help on this would be great. I just need to know which microphone to replace.

iPhone 11: Why does my phone screen keep going black?

So, for the past three days I’ve had this problem with my phone. It started Monday, when I’d woke up to watch a bit of YouTube and my hone just went black. I was worried so I contacted Apple Support. I followed their instructions and nothing prevailed. Being the frugal person I am, I decided to wait out the day to see if eventually my phone would work. After leaving it on the charger for maybe three hours my phone’s screen had become back visible and was on the recovery mode screen. I restored the phone and went on with my day. After this, the same issues occurred the next day maybe 20 hours later. I went through the same steps and the phone came on after hours of being on the charge. Today, my phone has went black for a third time. I’m trying to figure out if there is anyway to stop this or what the problem is? Let me give a little information on the condition, when the screen goes black the touch is still responsive and I can still get notifications. I know the screen is responsive because I can still turn the flashlight on. It also still charges. Please send help as this is getting aggravating.

I phone is displaying network error after dropping it.
iPhone 11: Cracked Backed Glass - iPhone 11

HI, newer here. Have ordered a few things and am a beginner at repairing. Hope to make it a true side hustle soon. Newest thing, got an iPhone 11 with cracked back glass. The fix it video on here shows using an expensive laser. I found some other videos on removing back glass without the laser, looks more time consuming but not ready for an investment on over $1k on laser. My question is can anyone recommend a good video/guide for back glass replacement (without laser) for iPhone 11 or whatever model, and what are the cleaners and glue that are being used in the videos I have found (they are not called out). And just wondering, anyone using a laser care to comment on it, mainly is it worth if for the price? The decent on I saw was $1,700. Thanks in advance

iPhone 11: Repair fix method or cost of replacing an iPhone 11 screen and camera

So I recently threw my PS4 controller down and it smashed my front screen of my iPhone 11. The screen is still useable and it has minor display damage with some orange bleeding in some areas. The real damage hit when I figured my rear cameras and flash are not working with the flashlight not turning on and the rear camera’s not working in any app.

Does anybody know if the camera issue could POSSIBLY be software or if it is definitely hardware-based?

Would it be easy and cheap for me to repair the screen and cameras myself or would it be better to take it to Apple/third party company to repair it?

iPhone 11: Advice regarding back glass (cover)replacement

Dear Community!

I managed to save a very good iPhone 11 from ending up in the landfill.

There are only two issues with the phone.

Battery is at 75% which is totally fine, I will replace it.

The back glass is cracked on the top right corner deeply and went all the way down and to the camera area as well.

So, I was looking on Ebay for just the glass. I found numerous sellers who make “unbranded” covers. In addition, I found a special tool set as well that would be needed in order to remove the glass. It looks like a knife and you can change the tips to crack up the glass as I saw on videos. For adhesives and for the camera rings I would buy those from iFixit.

The question towards my community is the following: What should I look out for the procedure? What do you use for an easier removal? I know there is laser solution too but as I am passionately refurbishing and saving electronics I want to do it.

Currently I have the following tools that would help me in the process:

iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, loads of spudgers, iOpener, heat gun, air blower.

Thank you for Everyone's response!

iPhone 11: Replaced Screen. iPhone 11 won't boot only shows flashing apple logo.

So i fitted a brand new replacement screen to an iphone 11. However, This time the phone is now showing a flashing apple logo really quick then stops for 10 seconds and shows it again. I can access the restore function however, phone is also unable to restore… I did a full restore before changing the screen and all was working fine. Apart from the obvious damaged screen. I’m kinda thinking the screen is defective but it shows the restore information fine so I know the screen is working… Is there anything i can do or should i just request a replacement screen. I am using a high quality display from iTruColor and it should be working normally.
