iPhone 11 Pro Max: Battery disconnects after dropping by mistake.

I got my battery replaced from an third party vendor for apple and the cowlings are missing after the same, because of which the battery shuts down instantly and is not turned on unless I get the battery in place with help of a insulated tape. Is there a permanent solution for this?

Did a screen replacement yesterday. Unfortunately the tutorial video I was watching didn’t mention to unplug the battery before replacing the screen which I think may be the problem.

Today I noticed a smudge on my iPhone screen while it was turned off. I assumed it was from my fingers so I took a cloth and wiped it and much to my surprise it was still there? I’ve been searching online all day but can't find any answers and it’s driving me absolutely insane trying to figure out what it is. It’s definitely not a scratch it’s appearance is dull black in comparison to the normal glossy back it’s very smooth to the touch and i’ve found when i wipe the screen with more pressure it goes away but comes back after the screen has been touched. I guess it could be described as a patch? It’s an elongated oval and the outside you can see rainbow colors that are extremely subtle. It looks like it was under a really heavy weight but it wasn't. Fully functional.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. IM OCD AND I CANT STAND SEEING IT EVERY TIME MY SCREEN IS OFF

I have my iphone 11 pro max off to replace a cracked front screen under an apple care warranty, however the apple authorised store it’s with has just sent me a very suspicious sounding note saying they can’t get the screen off and that they want to order a brand new phone with a £79 excess instead…

In my 13 years of iphone ownership and multiple cracked screens, I’ve never come across this. So is it a thing or am I being conned??

I’m afraid I have slightly unfortunate news. I’ve been trying to take the display off you device to replace it and I just can’t do it. I’ve used several adhesive display covers which I’ve allowed to set for long periods of time and all the relevant Apple tools but it’s not budging. This can happen sometimes particularly if there’s been pressure to the display pushing it into the enclosure and means that I have to quote to replace the whole phone instead. Fortunately you do have your AppleCare so a new device would only be for the £79 excess fee, are you ok for me to go ahead and order a replacement for you at that price?

iPhone 11 Pro Max: Restoring True Tone without original screen issue

I am trying to restore the True Tone function of an iPhone 11 Pro Max using JCIDRepair without the original screen. I’ve used the software before without issue.

When trying on this iPhone I receive the following message “please use J-Box to back up the original Color data of your phone to the cloud first”. I’ve tried running the program as admin, restarting my laptop, using different USB ports and cables, and resetting the phone.

Just wondering what the issue is and if there is a solution?

so ive seen a lot of video on youtube and how one can switch the connector strips and program the battery and blah blah blah

I DONT want to do all that

my question is, if i had a orginal battery in the iphone at for example 99% health and i want it to read at 83% health instead, can i reprogram it to say 83% health without switch connectors and doing all that soldering?

what programmer would you suggest for 11 pro max updated latest ios, will i need a windows computer?

how do i do this, step by step if possible

iPhone 11 Pro Max: Speakerphone mic stops transmitting when other person talks

Replaced the port twice now. If the 11 Pro Max is on speakerphone and they are talking, if the other person begins talking at all they will cease being able to hear them until they stop talking. Have yet to find a solution to this issue.

iPhone 11 Pro Max: Harder and harder to turn it on

My (out of apple care) iPhone 11 Pro Max stays on black screen after a few hours not being used (most likely running out of battery).

It used to respond OK to the Volume-Up, Volume-Down, Side-button sequence, but not anymore. Now it stays black.

Last week it "magically" turned on again after 2 weeks untouched (connect to power screen). I took the opportunity to do a full reset (Recovery mode, not DFU as I couldn't get it to switch in DFU mode).

But It did it again: now I can't turn it on, no button sequence work, looks like it does not even charge (does not run hot, neither on several working plugs, nor wireless).

Call to Apple helpline didn't help beside they wants me to pay an excruciating amount of $$$ to get a replacement :-)

Anyone having solved that problem before?

iPhone 11 Pro Max: water damage speaker and face id not working now

So my mom dropped her phone in the sink (11 pro max) now the front earpiece speaker and face id doesn't work. She gave it to me since she got a new phone and I want to try and fix it but the product page with the earpiece speaker and sensor says that it wont restore face id functions. Is there anyway to fix this?

iPhone 11 Pro Max: Touch Issues/Glitching after repair

Recently, I have had a lot of trouble with iPhone 11 Pro Max repairs. Basically, the customer calls back within a day saying their phone is glitching/having touch issues. I use soft oled panels from two very reputable parts suppliers. Does anyone have any words of wisdom on what to look for when installing the screen that might cause this issue? Do I need to order a firmware copying tool for the screen? Any advice is appreciated.

Hello, i have been searching but I can't find anywhere, so my question is, if we replace an iphone 11 pro max display with another original one and we reprogram it for true tone,we still get display message even if the screen we reprogram is original? The only way is to transplant t the chip for that message to go away?

Hey guys so i replaced the screen with an ifixit led kit and everything went smoothly. Shes is working like a charm and phone looks so nice.

I’ve replaced the screens on my phones (literally my 6, 6s, 7 xr, and now my 11 pro max) build and repair computers and different electronics over the years. Followed steps exactly as the best I could find.

But i noticed that after replacing the screen (with the LED not the oled kit) my battery is dying much much faster than usual. Though the LED does seem to be a lot brighter than the original oled panel, but still.

It stinks there is the adhesive there so it’ll be a pain to remove to just open again, but is this issue common after a replacement? And if so is there a fix for it?

iPhone 11 Pro Max: What keeps the front camera microphone grill waterproofed?

I spilled a sauce on the top portion of my iPhone 11 Pro Max on the front facing cameras and the microphone and i cleaned it all off with isopropyl alcohol at first.

But now I am afraid that the alcohol will affect the water resistance of the microphone.

So what are the speaker grill, earpiece grill and microphone grill waterproofed with?

It seems to be working fine and working well. I just want to know for future reference.
