iPhone 7: Really cheap repair services on eBay?

Friend pointed out that their are tons of repair services on eBay for various known issues like Touch ic, audio ic, etc

Was browsing and couldn’t believe how cheap these were. Audio IC for the 7 series was found at $35. That’s pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Looking at feedbacks and number sold it seems to attract a lot of people.

Question, can repairs like these really be made for such low prices? A lot of known repair shops charge anywhere from 100-150 for the same repair. How are these shops competing with the cheap eBay ones?

iPhone 7: iPhone 7 pronounced dead by Apple - How can I get data off it?

I took my iPhone 7 to the Apple Genius Bar where they pronounced it dead and were unable to tell me why. The iPhone was being used to play music via the lightning connector into my car’s auxiliary outlet, went into the store, when I tried to connect again, it did not recognize the cable but instead played the music on the speakers. That night, when I tried to charge it, it still didn’t respond to being plugged in. I have tried several Apple lightning cables, several outlets, and of course tried to connect to my iMac to back up on iTunes - however, it was too late and the charge it had ran out. I am desperate for photos on it. This is when I went to the Apple store but they said I’d need to get in contact with engineers to find out what was wrong and go to a third-party for data recovery. Is there really nothing I can do or replace to get it on long enough for iTunes to recognize the device and back up the data?

iPhone 7: Why does my phone randomly restart?

A couple of months back I replaced my iPhone 7’s battery because the battery section in settings showed 78% relative to when it was new. So I went to change it and for about a month it worked, except it still died just as fast as it did before. The battery screen continued to show 78% so I just let it be and used it. About a month later I noted that my phone would unexpectedly shutdown and reboot slowly. After it rebooted it would show a battery percentage way off what I had before (I had about 92% battery, then 9% after it rebooted.) It would continue in this loop infinitely until I did something physical to the phone like drop it flat on its back or hit the front. Then it'd kill about 10% and go back to how it was before. I thought it was a software issue but after downgrading from the iOS 13 beta to iOS 12 and watching the same thing happen, I figured there was something wrong with the battery connector or the battery itself. Is it because the battery in my phone isn't designed for an iPhone 7 and maybe for another model?

iPhone 7: iPhone 7 no sound on earpiece only during a call

Hi to all, first time stuck and out of ideas so here is my fist question.

Iphone 7 with classic audio ic problem, no audio device on recorder, long boot time.

Made the c12 jumper(this is maybe the 20th device I repair with this issue), I put back the ic, test quickly the recorder, it works, put back the phone, test a phone call, surprise, no audio from earpiece, if I put it on speaker there is sound, in headphones too. The earpiece works withe every other sound source like youtube, recorder, only on a call it is complete silence.

What I tried:

Changed the audio IC with another one, same thing.

Restore with itunes, nothing.

Changed the earpiece (I tried with another complete assembly screen), same thing.

Made diode readings from under the audio IC, it looks all good.

Now I don’t know what to check, it is an Intel baseband iphone 7.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Cristian from Romania.

iPhone 7: Why does my replacement screen have artifacts?

I purchased and installed a replacement screen from iFixit. All was well for several months, then it started having these strange artifacts. The top of the screen image becomes interlaced with the bottom third of the display. It seems to be connected with the display brightness, as well. The artifacting is worse at higher brightness settings. I tried emailing iFixit support two or three different times, but they never replied to me.
