I haven't seen this before...usually I see the Apple logo bootloop.
That said, it does appear as though the boot process is interrupted pretty early on. There may (and I say may) be a logic board issue that is causing this failure. What I find odd is that you say it worked well for a few days after a DFU.
Is it recognized by iTunes or is it completely shutting down?
If iTunes sees the iPad it may be a LCD/Backlight issue. If not, then it could be another subsection that is pulling things down. If you have access to schematics and a multimeter, I would probe some power rails and visually inspect the logic board.
