There is no magic bullet when testing for a Tristar (U2) issue. Tristar is responsible for communicating with any device plugged into the Lightning port. Here are some suggestions to help you determine if U2 is the problem:

* Does the phone show the charging symbol but the percentage doesn't change or the Ammeter shows no current draw?
