A customer got an iphone 6 plus screen replaced by me 2 months ago. He got some liquid on the phone with his otterbox on the phone. There isn't any sign of the motherboard being wet. However the bottom half of his screen did not touch. So I start replacing the old screen that got water on it with a new screen. I plug it in and the apple logo comes up and then turns off, but the phone doesn't turn off it just goes to a black screen that looks like it is off. However, here is the weird part. The apple logo goes to that black screen as soon as I release the power button, if I hold it for 1 second that is when the black screen will come on. If I hold it for 4 seconds that is when the black screen will come on. The phone will not get passed the apple logo though.
