@meg753 check to make sure that your cable is okay and try a different charger or verify that the charger works properly by charging a different device. If so check the lightning port and make sure that there is no debris etc. in it. After that you do want to consider a new battery. Not an easy task but it is doable, just follow this guide [guide|47287]
