So, last year i have replaced the ipad touch screen. Unfortently doing that i kind of broke the FPC connector on the motherboard. Some of the "gold pins" came out, but none of them are in the same column. I mean, with the multimeter i checked that pins on the same column are shunted, so in that time i stayed with the idea that should not be a problem.
I reasembly the ipad and every line and column on the touch screen worked great.
This days the touch screen started to manifest some ghost problems. I wanna make a replacement again but before doing that i want ask you guys for your help. It's my
thought correct about the connector ? Or should i replace also the connector? It's intencional the pins are shunted for this type of problems ? Or they should shunt something in touch screen connector itself (not on motherboard)?
