Let’s first so some sleuthing to make sure we don’t have more damaged than I suspect. Follow this guide [guide|27666] follow it through to Step 4, then jump down to Step 11. Take a nice tight picture like the third image so we can see the solder joints and gold contacts clearly [guide|21499]

Sadly, the display assembly has gotten damaged, on the bottom edge is where the T-CON logic is located which controls thespianthe scan of the image to the LCD screenscreen, this is what is damaged.

One possibility is when you cleaned your system you sprayed the cleaner on the display and some dripped down onto the logic board at the bottom. . Overtime the cleaner corrodes the logic, with COVID I’ve seen more dead displays as people are being more aggressive in cleaning their systems. Get into the habit of spraying the paper towel or micro-coth with the cleaner and then wiping the system and if you use a pre-wetted wipe squeeze out the cleaner so the cloth is just damp not wet.

To get to it you’ll need to take the display fully off remove the plastic clutch cover to get to the logic board. Here’s a good breakdown on what you are facing [guide|9493]

In most cases the corrosion damage is too much to repair. You’ll need a new display assembly.
