Lost audio in right ear, suspect wire going into headband

I have high suspicion that the problem lies on the circled part in the image. I’ve nudged the wires around and found out that a brief moment of audio comes back when I ‘push’ the wires together around the circled area.
Is there anything I can do to fix it?
