Disconnect
the water supply hoseline from the supply linetoilet. Place a small container or a few towels under it to just make sure it isit’s not dripping and getting your floor wet. Remove

Remove
the two hold down nuts on either side of the commodetoilet near the floor. Once removed, the toilet should be loose and can be removed. Make sure that you have someone to help you, since the tank is probably still attached. It's not very heavy, but just kind of wobbly. You would not want to break the tank. Lay

Set
the toilet on its sideside (make sure you have towels handy). You should now see the flange on the floor andfloor, as well as the toilet bottombottom of the toilet. The old wax ring should be on the bottom of the toilettoilet and some might still be on the flange. Remove it and clean both the flange, flange and the bottom of the toilet. YOuYou can use a putty knife or similar to remove the old ring. Once

Once
clean, place the new ring on the bottom of the toilet. Install the toilet in reverse order. I usually replace the two hold down screwsbolts as wellwell, since they do have a tendency of getting rustyrusting and it will make it easier to reinstall. This
