This actually looks more like a panel issue. You could try and take a look at the boards. Remove the back cover from your TV. The main board is the one where all the video inputs connect to. See if you can make out anything that looks odd, like charred or even missing components. Of course, you can also post some good pictures ***of all*** of the boards with your QUESTION.
