This usually happens after a short in the keyboard. I would remove and reseat the connector cable and make sure you have not left any thing in it that might short it out. To isolate the problem to just the keyboard try using an external USB keyboard and see if the problem is resolved. If all this fails then you'll need to replace the keyboard.
