I had water damage on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and went to a tech repair shop where the technician changed my lower volume button. There is no extensive damage to the motherboard. However, he stated that my LCD pins were visibly corroded on my touch screen, and some pins were missing or broken.
I was wondering if I can salvage my FPC for my LCD by desoldering it and replacing it with a new FPC. Is it worth the resources and money? I currently have an LCD screen, and it's horrible. I want to see if my original Apple OLED screen is salvageable, as most screen replacements aren't as good.
