Reattach power button bracket?

This is the bracket that is supposed to attach my iPad's new power button to the back case. This is a problem, obviously, as the bracket itself is no longer attached to the back case.

What would be the best way to reattach it?

If I should go with some sort of epoxy, is there a particular kind I should use?

If it's better to try to solder it, should I use regular circuit solder, or is there a kind better suited for structural joints like this?

Also, anyone know the technical name for this type of metal-to-metal joining method?
