Hi can you provide further info on how did this happen?, anything happen before the touch screen froze?, did you drop your phone?, if u did most likely your touch panel cable is disconnected or worst the touch panel is damage due to the drop, so if you are able to disassemble the phone and do a physical check on the touch panel cable, just disassemble to the point where you can see the touch panel cable, hope that helps!
