1 minor water damage but apple won't repair
I purchased a MacBook 13" for my girlfriend's birthday a few months ago and she spilled a "small" amount of water onto the keyboard. i live in a different state so i couldn't help her, but she turned it off and let it dry for several days (she didn't remove the battery however despite my suggestion to remove it)....
after the few days she turned it on and it worked except that the mouse was a little funny and the battery didn't seem to charge anymore. the battery has since waned to the point that she can't turn it on.
any ideas?? apple will only repair it for 1300$ :(
