You need professional help... this is not the sort of thing a DIY board can solve. From your description of the problem you've most likely damaged components by getting/running them while wet. If you use the "spill" tags at the right you can see some possible causes/solutions, but there is no "magic" fix.

At the least, a complete logic board replacement is probably needed, worse case scenario you'll need a top case with keyboard also. The good news is the machine is failing only part way through the POST (power on self-test) sequence so the contents of your SSD might still be retrievable.

Thanks for the nice answer. I was kind of prepared for such news regarding serious damage. The 'Genius Bar' at Apple repair center confirmed my bad luck as well. I appreciate if someone can give me a pointer to where I can get a logic board replacement with relatively lower price comparing to what Apple repair center offers. I do want to get it fixed with a limited budget as this is such a precious gift from my father.

Google and the internet would be the best source for a reasonable price used working logic board specify Mid 2011 in your search. FWIW I would replace it with an i7 model (even if it's currently an i5) since you intend to use it for a long time. If you purchase the required tools, go slowly, and keep screws & other parts sorted out for reassembly you might be able to DIY. If your not sure about that, providing the parts to a good computer repair shop may save you some money, but I'd ask the repair person about that first... they may even have a source for lower priced parts.
