Is the adapter rated for international voltages?

Does it say on the iPad 10W usb power adapter anything about the voltage ratings? In other words can one use it in europe where the electric outlet voltage is 220V?

I was hoping that someone who has actually bought the iPad could have a look at the wall wart that comes with it. All wall warts that I've ever seen always list the primary and secondary ratings.

If I had a local dealer I would of course check it myself but I don't, yet.

just bought an ipad. The 10w usb power adapter rating:

input:100 - 240V - 0.45A 50-60Hz output: 5.1V ---2.1A

so i guess its safe to used in any country.

Here is the only official info I could find but numerous sources indicate they think it will work. I would check with a local dealer before trying it. Ralph

Hello ifixit-- You have a ipad--would you look at the 10W usb power adapter and let this OP know if it will work in Europe? Ralph
