Can I install LTE on the I9500 (octacore version)?
for example: can I remove an LTE chip from the I9505 and install it on the I9500?

No, you can not. This not just because it is a BGA IC, some people have the tools and the knowledge of replace those, but because it is a different IC altogether. It uses a different chipset.
