Problems after iPhone 4s display, not charging

I replaced my iphone 4s front display and it went faultless, my phone was working perfect afterwards. When the battery became low I put on charger and it would not charge.

Ive removed the battery and dock connector just to make sure everything is ok as they are the only two things I can associate with this problem but they seem fine.

If you remove the battery and plug in charger you get the same effect but I just know the battery is fine.

The phone is freezing at the minute and will reboot itself. Ive done a full restore to 6.1.3 just to be sure but still the same.

I can dismantle the whole thing and start again but is that really worth my while.....
