Any advice on how to make pre-amp line-out in Play-3 or Play-5?

oldturkey03, I would like to use Sonos Play inside as well as as a source for an outdoor zone (powered). Yes, I can spend $350 for Sonos Connect, but to hack Play to get line-out would be more fun.
