iPhone 5 Water Damage - Dried, cleaned, temp warning upon turning on
Hi. I went swimming in a salt water pool with my iPhone 5 in my pocket. When I realized it, phone had already turned off.
From there, I did this:
- Left it in rice for a week
- Replaced the battery
- Removed the EMI shields and cleaned profusely, at least 5 times, with 91% alcohol (plus connectors).
When I plug the phone in and it turns on, I almost immediately get the "Temperature Warning." My touch screen is completely unresponsive. When I plug it in to my computer, it won't stay connected... it just switches back and forth between connected and unconnected, all on its own.
I can't even restore it, because it won't stay connected to iTunes.
Any ideas on what I could/should do next?
