How to replace the internal, Apple-installed SSD?

My Mid-2010 iMac has an SSD and a conventional hard drive. I'd like to replace both in one swoop. The "Dual Hard Drive Kit" guide (Installing iMac Intel 27" EMC 2390 Dual HDD or SSD Drive) erroneously says that "Apple never sold the 2010 27" iMac with the option of having a second hard drive." Apple did, and I bought it.

Does anyone know of a step-by-step guide for replacing both drives simultaneously? I could open up my computer and hope for the best, but I'd rather find out whether anyone has done this before.

The Apple installed SSD is located in a different void in the case against the mid-plane air dam.

The dual drive kit places the drive behind the optical drive (a different void in the case).

To get to the Apple installed SSD you'll need to pull the logic board out fully.

Can you explain what your plan is here?

Sure. The iMac has an Apple-installed SSD and a conventional HD. I'd like to replace both, at once, with a Samsung 750GB SSD and a 4 TB HD.

In a perfect world, I'd find someone who has a) already done this and b) taken photos or video of the process.
