Is it possible to solder the iPad 4 LCD connector, or is the iPad dead?

Christian Jensen, yes it is if you have the tools and the skills to microsolder. Otherwise I would leave it to someone who does board level repairs. Hope this helps, good luck.

Of course it's possible--are all your pads intact?
Order a new one, pre tin your pads, and hit them one by one.

Yes. I have taken the old connecter of, and cleaned the board, but is it possible to solder a new LCD connecter to the motherboard?
