Can we remplace mate screen for glossy screen?
hello i got a question can i remplace my mate screen for mi msi gt70 stealth for a glossy screen? and if i can how i can do it? thank you

I have owned two generations of GS70 - 2013 version and latest 2015 version. They have different displays.
I've found and successfully replaced both screens with glossy panels.
I don't know about that but only easiest way around is to apply a crystal clear screen protector on it. It would look more glossy but not be compared to those Gorilla glass screen.

Yes GS70 screen panels has glossy versions. But note that there are several generations of GS70 and they uses totally different display connection types (parallel interface LVDS, and new serial interface eDP).
So the best way is to pull out the stock display, write down the model number, then start to search online for the corresponding glossy version.
I found the easiest and most cost effective way is simply applying a glossy screen protector. The appearance is no difference from having a real glossy panel. You need to be very careful when applying the film to not having bubbles.

I have tried both ways, and I will stick with the 'glossy screen protector' method.
Because the glossy panel's surface is very fragile, you need to apply a glossy protector to it anyway.
