Hi guys.
Since my trackpad has screwed up (spilled a drink)
I am looking to buy a new upper case and I don't seem I could find one.
Ifixit and some other sites only sell a used upper case not new.
So is there a place to find a new upper case not in apple (we don't have apple stores)

The only reason we list the part as "used" is because we sometimes pull these from refurbished computers we buy from Apple. 90% of our inventory for this part we buy new, individually.

The only place that I know of that has NEW upper cases would be Apple and the when I last worked at a shop servicing them they would not sell parts to individuals. That may have changed. I would recommend you contact Apple support and see if they will sell you what you need. Failing in that I must say the products ifixit sells may be used but are of good quality and they stand behind them. And no I don't work for ifixit but have purchased from them at times. Before you do your order are you sure there is no other damage to your computer? Ralph

apple still won't sell parts, would not sell me a hard drive sled/caddy just about a month ago. wouldn't give me the part number either.
