Hi after doing a digitizer LCD screen repairI can hear the ipod making noises when charging and with the screen lifted I see the back of it lighting up but the front display has nothing. I've tried multiple times to make sure every connection is secured, tried grounding the ipod, and held the lock and home button and still nothing. Help I really don't know what's wrong with it.

1.) see if you old screen works. if yes--defective screen
2.) if no--send out for backlight repair

If you have checked connections it could be a faulty screen or check the pins on the motherboard were the lcd connects and see is any bent or broken off
