The console is not turning on seems there is no power
Console does not turn on and there is no light when it is pushed. The controller does come on.

This happened to our Wii not long after we bought it. We bought a new power cord and we haven't had a problem since.

Use a multimeter and with your powersupply plugged in but disconnected from the wii carefully check the voltage from the end of the cord you would plug into your wii you should see 12v DC or a little bit above 12v.

I unplugged it for 30+ seconds, plugged it back in. Boom acts like nothing ever happened
