2 Why is the radio not catching any signals?
Everything seems to be working, the LED turns on, the speaker radiates noise, but it is very quiet. Unfortunately the noise that is emitted is not that of a radio station. Why is this?

The problem can, more than likely, be found at the capacitor labeled C-22, this unit controls the amount of gain your radio has. This directly affects how your radio responds to the frequencies that it detects.
