Just bought won't eject film

I just bought this camera from goodwill. It has a cartridge with film in it. I took the cartridge out and put it back in and it made a noise. The film won't come out when I try to take a picture. Is the cartridge dead or is there another issue?

Yes! I have a similar issue! The camera accepts the film perfectly fine and seems to be powered, but will not actually take a photo, with or without flash. Have you ever gotten advice about fixing this problem?

I have the same issue!!! I just bought my camera off of Etsy and they gave me a pack to test the camera out on my own, then, when I tried it, the camera worked fine but after around 5 shots it stopped working and I took the film out, (because it wasn't the best film either) and now whenever I put the pack in, it just makes a. Buzzing noise and doesn't eject the black card (which I put back in to test if it would work because the film was now exposed and useless) I was wondering if someone could give me a tip on what's wrong

Since the Film pack was inside camera all these years I don't think it's in working condition (Film pack). Buy one of those Impossible Project 600 film packs are test the camera. Those new packs cost you around $24.

From what you said I think camera is still working. But the problem is are you willing to spend $24 for 8 photo prints ?

I have this same problem, more than likely it is the film, I bought a used Polaroid Sun 600 LMS and when you try to take a picture nothing happens. The batteries for the camera are in the film pack so you might want to replace that. If you didn't know this I'm going to tell you, before you take a picture, you have to hold the red capture button in, and the red light will come on which means it is charging the flash, when it turns green, you can take the picture. Just search up Polaroid Sun 600 LMS user guide online and it should pop up, read through it and you will understand the camera better.

The same exact thing happened to me!

Check if there is a green light on the back if there is put in the cartridge and if there's any juice left the green light will be lit. The rollers may be too stiff or the black plastic or paper thing that's close to the end of the cartridge is bent either fold it back into place or remove it completely.

(You may have to open the cartridge which was very tricky for me)

Probably chemicals in film pack is already dried out. I assume it's an old Polaroid camera ( You haven't posted the model which is something important) so only way to test the camera is buying a new film pack from Impossible Project. That's only if you camera is either Polaroid 600, SX-70 or Spectra models.

It's really not worth spending money on these old relics unless you are a vintage camera collector. Most of these won't work anymore and film packs are really expensive. Like 25 usd for 8 photo prints.

These days there are so many new cheap instant camera models out there. Just check these and buy one because these new cameras work better and produce better quality photos and also film packs are lot cheaper.

Hey, I was just given a Polaroid SUN 600 LMS from a special friend that had got it from a yard sale. So of course I bought new film instantly. And the camera won’t even respond AT ALL. No lights turn on or anything. And honestly I think I seen a bug in it but for the most part it looks really good. Is there a way to take one apart and clean it?

Make sure you didn’t order the i-Type instant film for non-vintage cameras. There are no batteries in the I-Type film packs. These packs are for the new OneStep2 cameras that have a battery in the camera itself. If you have a vintage Polaroid Sun 600 camera then you need the 600 film which has a battery built into each film pack.

I just loaded new film, it lights up instantly from red to green in 1 second and will not spit out the blank. So it turns on and changes but won't take pictures. On the film there is a little piece on the top of the outside near the sticker that's bent, should I take this off?

Is there anything I can do to make it take photos?
