Screen Stays Blank but iPad Speaker Makes Sound When Connected to PC
I got a broken ipad with a shattered digitizer, disconnected wifi antenna, and missing home button. I tested it out before opening it up and it work (there was no problem with the display or anything other than the digitizer). After fixing all the parts, (except for the home button) I reattached everything to make sure it was working so far. Couldn't get any picture on the screen, but the speaker in the ipad made a sound when I plugged it into my computer (and it showed up normally and would let me copy pictures off and stuff). Tried unplugging and re-plugging the digitizer and screen several times, but nothing has changed. I was really careful when taking it apart and am 99% sure that I didn't break the screen. Any thoughts?
Also, I am trying to figure out how to put the new home button on. I have the little switchboard and the actual plastic button itself, but I don't understand what it is supposed to come into contact with to work. Does anyone know of a picture/diagram that explains it?
