Can I upgrade the logical board on my Macbok Pro Retina

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to upgrade the Macbook Pro 15" Retina Early 2013 2.4Ghz 8GB RAM to a newer more powerful logical board?

I would like to upgrade it to the most powerful/ fastest logical board that will fit in my MBP. I know I can upgrade the board to use a 16GB RAM but was wondering if I would use any newer logical boards?

Can someone tell me which logical boards would fit/ work in my MBP and part numbers if you know them.

You can go to an A1398 Retina board possibly this one: Apple MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.6 15" Late 2013 (IG) Specs

Identifiers: Retina Late 2013 15" - BTO/CTO - MacBookPro11,2 - A1398 - 2674

But it would really be cost prohibitive. You would do better just selling it and buying the top of the line current machine. Your other option is to go with a MacPro for real speed.

Is this still right?

Because i have an early 2013 macbook pro retina 15’ and i wanted to buy a motherboard from late 2013 retina macbook pro and put on my early 2013 macbook pro,

other type of motherboard for example late 2013 retina mbp i7 8gb 2.0ghz will work too?

so it will be workable?
