shorten heigth of poles
have a halogen floor lamp. someone shortened it now i need to add pole back in for height.

You should be able to get replacement pieces for the pole (depending on how thick the pole is or if there are any decorative aspects) from any home improvement store. Home Depot, Lowe's, Rona. You will have to check to see if you have enough power cord available for the extension though. Fixing something like this is not for the faint of heart so if you are unsure ask someone in the lighting dept on tools you will need etc.
