What are all those com.android.xxxxxxx used for?

can someone plz explain what they are for, cuz i cant find reliable info about them or im looking in wrong places :-/ im currently using an samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 android lollipop 5.0 and keep running into those green goons in my app list(show all tab) and want to know if i need to do an hard reset or just put an sledgehammer trough my device. gonna name a few and hope someone responds.
