Why will my 25000 lb 12 volt winch not turn
The solenoid for each way clicks but it will not turn either way. Checked wires.

Using an ohm meter if you ohm the motors leads do you read resistance thus proving continuity, if not the motor's thermal overload may have opened or the motors windings. You did not mention any fuse blowing or wires smoking etc leaving me to suspect you are pulling little to no amperage. If the motors not open and it is getting proper voltage yet pulls no amperage then the motor is bad, if it does pull amperage yet will not run it I likely mechanically tight or stuck
