Why is the viewfinder show blank white

Try to put in to camera mode, on the top there is a black with green switch turn or swap it to the left. (Sorry for My bad English I'M From holland)

This didnt help for me, its still white. In play aswell as camera mode. Its flickering and when FF or RW is pressed it also flickers how i would expect it to but still only white. When i first powered it up i saw like 1sec Snippets of image then white again, now only white and Flickering

I have the same issue. I suspect it’s a power/regulation issue or a video board issue with the Surface mount electrolitic capacitors that dry out or leak over time. I ordered some of these capacitors and I’m going to replace some of them and see if it helps to restore the picture.

Did it work?
It revived the viewfinder but I still had a garbled picture. There still is something wrong on the video board in the camera.
